Refund Policy

We stand behind the work. Here's exactly what our double guarantee means, and how refunds and cancellations work. Prices are in CAD; refunds go back to your original payment method, normally within 10 business days of approval.

Guarantee #1 — CRA-ready in 30 days, or that month's free

If we haven't caught your books up to CRA-ready within 30 days of receiving your complete records, that month of your subscription is free — refunded or credited, your choice. "Complete records" means the bank/credit-card statements and documents we've asked for; the clock starts when we have them, and pauses if we're waiting on something we've requested from you.

Guarantee #2 — Not thrilled? Full refund, keep the books

If you're not thrilled with BattleBooks in your first 30 days (monthly plan) or first 60 days (annual plan), tell us at hello@battlebooks.ca and we'll refund everything you've paid — and you keep the clean books and records we've produced up to that point. No forms, no hoops; we may ask what went wrong so we can get better.

After the guarantee window

• Monthly plans: cancel anytime — you keep access to the end of the period you've paid for, and you're never charged again. The current month isn't refunded once it's underway (that's the month we're working your books).
• Annual plans: cancel anytime — you keep access to the end of your paid year. The annual fee is non-refundable after the 60-day guarantee window, because it's priced at roughly half the monthly equivalent.
• Our error: if we've materially failed to deliver the service as described in our Terms, that's not what your fee was for — contact us and we'll make it right, including refunds where warranted.

How to claim

Email hello@battlebooks.ca from your account email with "refund" in the subject line. We'll confirm within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 10 business days.
